MAYFLEX UPGRADES TO IBS ENTERPRISE RELEASE 6

Additional IBS Modules Selected to Meet Mayflex Business Growth Strategy.

IBS UK has announced that Mayflex Ltd has upgraded its core integrated ERP and supply chain software system to the latest IBS Enterprise Release 6. In addition, Mayflex Ltd will implement additional new IBS Modules, offered by Release 6 to support its business objectives.

Headquartered in Birmingham UK, Mayflex Ltd is a leading supplier of cabling and networking products and solutions. The company initially implemented IBS Enterprise software in 2000 in order to deliver a comprehensive and flexible supply chain management solution for its complex distribution network and system requirements. More recently, the company has identified the need to move to the latest version of the IBS system in order to further meet its business challenges and goals.

The company will also benefit from enhanced automation throughout the business, including improved EDI capabilities, supplier price list updates, parcel carrier integration, more flexible pricing and discounting and more extensive management reporting across the supply chain.

Implementation of IBS Enterprise Release 6 ensures Mayflex Ltd will benefit from the latest developments and technology from IBS. These include improved ease of use and navigation, enhanced search and enquiry capabilities and better cash flow forecasting.

In addition to the upgrade, Mayflex Ltd is implementing new software components available with IBS Enterprise Release 6 that will increase the efficiency within the organisation:

• Planner View provides greater visibility within the supply chain, particularly for inventory, purchase orders and sales orders, as well as cashflow forecasting
• Supply Planning improves overall communications with suppliers, increasing electronic communications and making the company more dynamic in terms of business planning
• Alert Management increases customer satisfaction by providing the timely notification of out of line business situations, allowing the company to respond quickly and plan more efficiently
• Supply Marketing Support will allow Mayflex Ltd to manage and control the rebates offered by suppliers for their marketing support.
