ERP systems company, McGuffie Brunton has double cause for celebration following multiple contract wins and the achievement of 25 years in business.

As the world's largest supplier of SYSPRO manufacturing, financial and distribution systems, McGuffie Brunton has already got off to a flying start in its 25th anniversary year by winning eleven new IT contracts worth almost 900,000 in the first quarter.

Latest customers include Allen-Vanguard, which produces products such as remote operating vehicles to counter the threat of terrorist activity; Fontaine International Europe, the world's second largest producer of fifthwheel coupling devices that connect a HGV truck to trailers; and Grange Packaging and Distribution, a company that wraps and packs chocolates and sweets on behalf of confectionery manufacturers.

McGuffie Brunton has also just announced the latest version of SYSPRO 6.0 Version 10, which is being launched to help companies achieve even greater levels of business efficiency. With deeper functionality in the finance, distribution and manufacturing areas, the new release also empowers users to further tailor the software to their individual requirements. This means SYSPRO can be customised even more to match closely the users' specific way of doing business.

"SYSPRO software is amongst the most flexible of IT systems in the market. Not only does it give our customers better visibility of information, cost savings on inventory and better efficiency with production, but it allows them to work the they want to. In other words, they don't have to change their processes to suit the software. This is a major attraction for small to medium size enterprises, which is our major market", said Howard Joseph, McGuffie Brunton's Sales Director.

McGuffie Brunton was established in Manchester in October 1981, by Paul Murray and Brian Greene. Paul is still Managing Director of the company and has guided the business through year on year growth.

In the same year that McGuffie Brunton was formed, Microsoft rolled out its MS-DOS computer operating system and IBM launched the IBM PC - a home computer that was to start the personal computer revolution.
