IBS EXPANDS RANGE OF BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SOLUTIONS FOR IBS ENTERPRISE RELEASE 6

As part of the new IBS Enterprise Release 6, IBS has announced the development of its own Data Warehouse based upon Microsoft SQL technology.

The product is being launched at the IBS UK Customer day on Wednesday 5th July at Prestwold Hall near Loughborough The event, commencing at 9am, contains key breakout sessions hosted by IBS, and a number its business partners.

IBS Business Intelligence has also pre-built OLAP data cubes for Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Finance and SCOR (Supply Chain Operation Reference) to enable customers to benefit from a broad range of Business Intelligence (BI) applications immediately after implementation of their IBS Enterprise system. The system also provides an advanced Cognos 8.0 reporting capability allowing users to slice and dice the business data, generating high end management information and increasing overall visibility of the business.

In addition, IBS has developed pre-defined reports in the areas of Sales, Purchase, Inventory and Finance that can easily be enhanced with a minimum amount of training relating to the Cognos reporting capabilities. IBS Business Intelligence helps companies avoid the frustration of not being able to access vital business data. It contains many predefined reports and dashboards that can be fine tuned and used effectively when historical data is extracted and loaded into the OLAP data cubes.

Report Studio, allows users to create advanced reports that cover the entire range of enterprise reporting requirements. Users can write a report once and distribute it to many users in multiple languages and formats. Dynamic dashboards can easily be created that show key critical information at a glance, which is ideally suited for delivering critical management information for senior management.
 
Analysis Studio allows users to explore business data to find trends and comparisons to answer business questions.

Query Studio enables users to create their own reports quickly and easily to explore critical business cases. Reports can be saved and then used to view the latest data. Reports can also be printed or saved it in other formats, such as PDF.
