Sanderson, the publicly owned UK provider of software solutions to the Delivered Wholesale and Cash & Carry industries, has won a contract to supply its Small Business Solution (SBS) and web services for online trading to Nisa Todays member, Three Pears Ltd.
Three Pears Ltd operate a Cash & Carry and Delivered Wholesale business primarily selling toiletries and cosmetics in the West Midlands. Previously the business operated Sage Line 50 and barcode scanner tills, but these systems were proving problematic and unreliable as the business grew.
The entry level software from Sanderson will provide much needed functionality and integration across Three Pears business. New tills will speed up order processing and ensure accurate stock management in real time. To improve customer service and maximise sales the sophisticated new tills, which run Microsoft Windows, are able to produce on-screen quotations, trolley dockets as well as check stock availability.
A dedicated accounts package will provide an integrated view of business accounts enabling profit and loss to be analysed. The sales ledger will allow customer credit status and non cleared cheques to be monitored in real time whilst the purchase ledger will monitor rebates due from suppliers - and automatically raise credit requests for over charges. To further integrate business activities, the Sanderson system will interface with Three Pears existing EDI system which is used for invoicing.
Karen Tonks, Company Secretary at Three Pears Ltd commented:
We realised that we needed a more functional system to support our growing business so we began to look for a replacement. Nisa Todays recommended Sanderson as an experienced and skilled IT provider. We are confident that the Sanderson software will not only support but improve our business operations.
Jackie Taylor, Sales Director for the Wholesale business at Sanderson concluded:
We are pleased to provide our Small Business Solution to another Nisa Todays member, Three Pears Ltd. The system will assist in integrating current business activity and additional functionality can be added in the future as business needs dictate.
