Benefits include :

Increased order accuracy

Less administration time in the back-office, more time on the shop-floor;

Reduced out-of-stock products

Saving in man hours devoted to inventory ordering, delivery and staff scheduling

Increased sales through faster customers processing

Improved customer service through better workforce allocation

Improved customer service through better price, products and stock checking

Higher returns from marked down products

Early users for Aldatas mobile solutions include COOP Jednota Bratislava, with 26 stores in Bratislava in the Slovak Republic. COOP Jednota Bratislava has selected the Aldata G.O.L.D. software for its three hypermarkets and 23 supermarkets.

The Aldata G.O.L.D. modules Central, Shop and Mobile will assure the key operational issues of COOP Jednota Bratislava such as purchase management including discount and rebate management, management of store formats, promotion control and evaluation, amongst others. The implementation also includes the installation of radio frequency PDA terminals for G.O.L.D. Mobile to enable real-time access to the central system directly from the sales-floor.

Ing. Anna Grollov, General Manager of COOP Jednota Bratislava explains: As part of the IT system selection process, we examined in detail system functionalities and the skills of the partner who will manage the project. This pre-implementation study has proved that the new information system will bring our company the advantages of an integrated solution, which will lead to improvements in quality across the entire business operations process at COOP Jednota Bratislava.
