Information Management Solutions 2006 (IMS)

New show to run alongside established Online Information 2006

VNU Exhibitions Europe, organiser of the market leading Online Information and Content Management Europe (CME) events, has today announced the launch of Information Management Solutions (IMS), which will run alongside Online Information, now in its 30th year, from 28 30 November 2006 at the Grand Hall, Olympia, London.

Information management is a priority for businesses and organisations, and over the past few years our market research has highlighted shifts in visitor needs. We have responded to this by launching various pieces of the information management puzzle to complement Online Information, namely: Content Management Europe, EDRM, e-Publishing Solutions and Enterprise Search Solutions comments Victoria Bush, Event Director at VNU Exhibitions Europe.

These launches have been relevant to, and well received by, our traditional core audience of Information Managers and Information Professionals and have also attracted new visitor audiences with an IT management, financial and business background. Its these new visitor groups that have been most vocal in their call for a more comprehensive and integrated event covering all areas of Information Management. IMS will encompass the Content Management Europe, EDRM, Enterprise Search Solutions events as well as covering information continuity solutions, collaboration and social media solutions. 

IMS focuses on the business applications and benefits of available technology, not on the technical infrastructure of information management. The event will provide a forum for professionals to find unlimited, relevant advice, educational content and solutions under one roof - reducing the need to attend several different trade events and conferences throughout the year.
