New customers, new partners, and customer retention over 10 years in excess of 70%.

Preactor International, the UKs leading specialist planning and scheduling software company, has reported yet another record year in 2005. This continues the consistent international growth of the company, which has installations in more than 1600 companies located in 51 countries.

Mike Novels, Chairman and Managing Director, commented on the performance.  We added more than 500 licenses to our user total in 2005 while many of our competitors have not been able to achieved one tenth of this.  Our revenues are up by 20% and we are looking forward to 2006 with understandable optimism.

Some highlights of the year included the announcement of partnership agreements with Enterprise software providers, Sage, McGuffie Brunton and Azur. This continues Preactors proven record to be the partner of choice for many ERP companies, as Preactor is designed to enhance rather than replace ERP, accounting and other back-office software.

Sages new Manufacturing Controller for Sage Line 50 is fully integrated and Powered by Preactor, McGuffie Brunton and Syspro UK have integrated Preactor into their Syspro ERP package, and Azur has created a manufacturing module for SAP Business One based on Preactors 500 APS version which offers scheduling, CTP and BoM explosion capabilities.

Mike Novels explains why this is important for manufacturers.  Often users find that the functionality offered by their ERP software just isnt enough and they resort to using spreadsheets.  These often become heavily customised, insufficiently integrated and still do not offer the what if capability to compare alternative schedules that planners need to test solutions to unforeseen events.
