The Stiller Group, ATMS plc and Psion Teklogix  have announced a joint venture which brings together three market leaders and provides the distribution industry with a long awaited Warehousing Technology Centre of Excellence.

ATMS, Psion Teklogix and The Stiller Group have joined forces to establish a showpiece Warehousing Solution at The Stiller Groups, newly operational 350,000 sq ft Distribution Centre at Darton near Barnsley, (J38 of M1).

The Stiller Group is continuing to enhance its  reputation as the UKs fastest growing logistics company and the site will showcase the technologies and devices deployed by ATMS and Psion Teklogix to provide leading edge supply chain solutions in real-time applications such as those utilised by The Stiller Group.

With ATMS providing the software solution and Psion Teklogix the hardware, The Stiller Group has provided the environment in which to portray the practical usage of this technology in a live, busy and challenging workplace environment. The Centre of Excellence is effectively a live, real-time demonstration of the ATMS and Psion Teklogix products used in conjunction with The Stiller Groups capabilities. It will allow customers and prospective customers an exceptional opportunity to visualise the solutions in operation.

RFDC, RFID and operationally viable Voice Solutions will all be on display with a live link to the ATMS StockTrack PLUS system visible to all. Reverse logistics and returns management applications will also be demonstrated.

The development of the Centre of Excellence will highlight the mobility and the innovation of the three companies, providing a warehouse solution specific to a customers needs through ATMS software. The Centre of Excellence will provide a live StockTrack PLUS application which will allow prospective customers the ability to be presented with information demonstrating how the solution can increase productivity, warehouse efficiency and most importantly to prospective clients, the likely timescale required for return on investment.

The blend of the three companies involved not only provides the reliability and assurance of acknowledged market leaders, but creates an unparalleled opportunity for UK customers to actively participate in and discuss the practical development of highly advanced logistics solutions.
