When Hayter, the leading manufacturer of grass cutting machinery, needed an export solution they turned to TRAXi3 from Precision Software.

Export is of vital importance to Hayter accounting for 15% of their commercial products turnover and 30% of their spare parts business.  Hayter mowers are exported worldwide including exports to Europe, Australia and the USA, in fact Hayter mowers are responsible for the impeccable grass at many of the Commonwealth War Grave sites in locations as diverse as Libya and Belgium.

When Hayter embarked on an implementation of SAP during 2005 they decided that they needed a best of breed solution to deal with the demands of their export business.  Anne Campbell, Export Manager for Hayter said After a rigorous selection process we decided to implement TRAXi3 from Precision Software.  We needed a solution that would integrate seamlessly with our SAP enterprise solution and TRAXi3 has a proven and certified SAP interface.

Hayter were also impressed with the level of automation TRAXi3 was able to bring to their export procedures adds Campbell The workflow feature in TRAXi3 has really enabled us to streamline our export operations, particularly when used in conjunction with the document managing aspects of TRAXi3 and links to e-mail and fax

As Hayter is expecting to grow their export business it was vital that their export solution was scaleable, Anne Campbell said, TRAXi3 is able to grow with our business, giving us the option of adding modules as our business demands it.  As TRAXi3 integrates with the systems of our parcel carrier we will be looking at managing our parcel shipping function within TRAXi3.
