Manhattan Associates Supply Chain Execution Solutions to Fulfill Microsoft Channels Industry-Specific Needs

Leading supply chain solutions provider, Manhattan Associates, announced that its Supply Chain Execution for Microsoft Axapta solution was unveiled yesterday as one of five industry-specific products developed in close alliance with Microsoft as part of their Microsoft Industry Builder initiative.

The solutions are designed for businesses that specialise in retail, distribution and manufacturing and have been developed for Microsoft Business SolutionsAxapta, now part of Microsoft Dynamics. These industry-specific solutions are part of the first wave of Microsofts Industry Builder initiative, which will offer customers solutions that are packaged with Microsoft support offerings and high-quality code review.

The initiative was announced at this years Convergence, the annual event for organisations that use products and services offered by Microsoft. Since that time, Manhattan Associates and the Microsoft channel have successfully engaged in new customer implementations in North America and Europe. Support for the initiative has been well received since the initial announcement in March with business partners and customers alike agreeing that the time is right for Microsofts Industry Builder initiative.

The Manhattan Associates Supply Chain Execution for Microsoft Axapta solution enables companies to improve supply chain operations with a faster, more efficient flow of goods through the distribution centre, an optimised facility layout, increased workforce productivity and integrated transportation management. By synchronising, in real-time, the movement of people, products and information, businesses can optimise processes, reduce time and costs and improve profit margins.

These solutions are being launched by Microsoft in multiple countries including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.
