The integration of the Adaptus Imaging Technology 5.0 will not add to the price of the devices, while offering the following enhancements:
Greater reading range on linear and 2D bar codes
Increased motion tolerance, guaranteeing quick reads in a wide range of applications
Improved low light reading
More versatility and usability, especially in logistical applications
Faster read rate delivers linear imager-like performance on all bar codes
Increased image resolution - greater image quality for image capture applications & improved reading of wide bar codes
"End users are demanding enhanced functionality and solutions to make operations more efficient. The ability to read any linear or 2D bar code
today - as well as capture digital images - all with one device, is an extremely valuable proposition," said Lee Ann Capogrossi, senior product
manager at Hand Held Products. "By integrating Adaptus 5.0 into the IT4600, we're providing users with a device that is not only extremely versatile, but easy to use as well."
