The Swiss cooperative Migros of the canton of Vaud, has just renewed its partnership with Aldata Solution, choosing to implement version 5.03 of G.O.L.D. Stock.
Migros Vaud wishes to optimise its production, packaging and supply processes to offer the freshest products of the highest quality to its consumers. Migros Vaud needed a more effective and rational logistic system, specially adapted to its activity as distributor of fresh and ultra-fresh products in more than 50 shops.
The software G.O.L.D. Stock, selected by Migros Vaud, will ensure optimum management, from delivery of the merchandise by the suppliers to shipment to the shops. G.O.L.D. Stock will manage all the activity of the Cooperative, i.e. 70% of its activity.
We chose Aldata G.O.L.D. for several reasons: conformity with business as standard in the software, interfaces certified with SAP and knowledge of version 4.8 of the software, stated Patrick de Saint-Flix, project manager, Migros Vaud.
The implementation of the new version 5.03 of G.O.L.D. Stock will allow Migros Vaud to benefit from new functions: preparation and distribution in vocal mode, article tracing, traceability of merchandise throughout the logistic flow. The benefits expected are the increase in productivity and the decrease of the risk of error. Another fundamental point for Migros Vaud, this version will allow in the short term the normalisation of the working processes in its production sites according to the European norms in place and certification BRC.
The choice of Aldata G.O.L.D is strategic for Migros Vaud. The Cooperative will benefit from the new functions of the software, including the module G.O.L.D. Vocal for the preparation of order and the distribution of merchandise., states Robert Husset, Logistic Solutions Manager, Aldata Solution S.A. Furthermore, the use of RFID is planned by the cooperative to identify production packaging: the G.O.L.D. Track module can ensure the traceability of products throughout the logistic process, he concludes.
ilem SA, partner of Aldata in Switzerland, will be responsible for the project management of the G.O.L.D. Stock integration project.
