GSM PRINTER & LABEL SYSTEMS STRENGTHEN THEIR BARCODE, PRINTING & SCANNING SYSTEMS CAPABILITY WITH THEIR NEW INTELLITRACK SYSTEM

GSM Printer & Label Systems, the tracking and data capture systems specialists, are moving from strength to strength in the barcode, printing and scanning solutions market. New to their already comprehensive range of products and services, is the entire family of IntelliTrack products aimed at the manufacturing markets.

Martin Cameron, General Manager of GSM Printer & Label Systems, underlined the reasons for strengthening the partnership with IntelliTrack, "We are committed to offering our clients a full, seamless package of software and hardware products for their manufacturing and warehousing requirements. Core to this commitment is the IntelliTrack family of products that will allow us to support clients with software to help them better manage their manufacturing and warehouse management process, including modules for fixed asset tracking, stockroom, check in/out, inventory control and automated receipt and delivery of parcels and packages and much more."

All the IntelliTrack software is available as both stand-alone or as a network installation across a large operation and can be supplied to work either via batch communication or RF. As part of the solution GSM can provide a range of printers, hand held scanners and rugged mobile computers from top suppliers such as Zebra, Datamax, Symbol and Datalogic. To give maximum flexibility all the software runs on DOS, Microsoft Windows CE 3.0, Pocket PC, and CE. Net platforms.

Martin continued, "GSM are pioneering the way with affordable barcode systems integrated into RF tracking solutions with high-performance Microsoft SQL and Netsynch network databases. Our partnership with IntelliTrack enhances our abilities to offer both standard and bespoke solutions, giving clients real choice."

Key to any manufacturing process is the use of barcode labels. GSM has many off-the-shelf labels from standard paper to more sophisticated offerings, such as polyester and other synthetic labels for wet and oily surfaces, low temperatures, security sealing applications, tamper evident/indestructible or high temperatures (up to 600 degrees C). Alternatively GSM's engineers can specify and supply a full bespoke solution.
