SSA Global Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SSAG), a global provider of extended enterprise solutions and services, today announced the acquisition of Boniva Software, Inc., a leading provider of human capital management applications.
Bonivas talent management portfolio of e-learning, skills management, and performance management applications will be integrated into the SSA Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. The addition of new, complementary HCM functionality will significantly expand SSA Globals ability to address the growing need among its customers for solutions that support employee recruitment, learning management, assessment and performance planning.
The Boniva applications are based on a similar services-oriented architecture and built using the same Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology as the recently released SSA Technology Architecture. The combined architecture will provide the flexibility to integrate with existing enterprise applications and to quickly tailor solutions for specific industries.
