15 February 2006 -- Information Lifecycle Management Event will cover content, storage and security issues

AIIM, the content management association, with the support of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Europe, will bring a new event, iLMe, covering all aspects of information content, storage and security management to Leeds, UK on 15th February 2006. These information lifecycle management (ILM) issues are today core to all IT infrastructures, and organisations need guidance on best practice and on identifying the potential benefits of effectively managing their information from creation to deletion to maximise its value, reduce costs and ultimately be compliant.

Atle Skjekkeland, Managing Director of AIIM Europe said Alongside security and storage hierarchies, content management is now a key requirement for any IT network that is to be both robust and cooperative.

According to Ross McCarroll, Chair of the SNIA Europe UK Regional Committee The sound management of data throughout its lifecycle is key to an organisations success and it requires the finely-tuned and coordinated deployment of storage, networking, and security infrastructures and policies. I am very excited the IT community will be presented with the opportunity to visit a single event covering the main elements of the ILM approach.
