Computer Software Group plc and Sidewinder Europe Ltd Offering Service Optimisation Solutions

Computer Software Group plc (CS Group) and Sidewinder Europe Ltd
(Sidewinder) have formed a strategic alliance to provide the service sector
with an advanced end-to-end service management offering that includes a
fully integrated, optimised scheduling tool.

This move allows CS Group to incorporate elements of Sidewinder's
sophisticated Real Time scheduling functionality, as an optional module
within their innovative Service Director suite. Sidewinder is now able to
tap into a wider potential client base through embedding their product
seamlessly into Service Director. New and existing customers will now be
able to benefit from far superior resource planning, above and beyond those
benefits already provided by the market leading solution.

CS Group believe that the next major cost saving for clients will come
through the adoption of a more sophisticated scheduling offering that
Sidewinder have already proven. By making better use of a field engineering
resource, customers will be able to react far quicker to their client's
requests. The ultimate aim is to improve upon an already impressive market
leading solution.

"For a system to truly deliver Real Time scheduling it has to get
information back from the field as it happens. The widespread use of Mobile
Data in service organisations has made scheduling optimisation a practical
proposition and is prompting enormous interest from users. Our approach has
been to create a standard module with embedded Sidewinder software to work
seamlessly with our products. This means that users know they have a
'packaged' solution - they get all the benefits of sophisticated scheduling
without the cost and hassle of bespoke integration and implementation," said
Jill Dixon, operations director at CS Group.

Derek Brown, sales and marketing director at Sidewinder goes on to say, "We
are very excited about this relationship and together with CS Group we are
ensuring more businesses are able to provide greater customer value and
improved service levels through Service Delivery Enhancement, and to achieve
greater control and visibility of their mobile resources."
