Belgravium Launch New Windows CE.NET Terminal

The Belgravium Monaco 7000 Series was launched in 2001 and has a large base of installed users, totaling many thousands of units. The 7000 Series has at its core a text-based operating system and Belgravium have worked to produce a vehicle-mounted terminal that runs under the Windows CE system, whilst retaining all of the key physical selling points that made the 7000 such a popular choice amongst supply chain professionals.

In the Monaco 7100 Series, Belgraviums technical development team has produced a unit that is robust, maintaining performance levels in the harshest of conditions, including the sub-zero temperatures of a cold store operation.


Innovative Features
The Monaco terminal includes large, backlit keys that allow for data entry by gloved fingers and provide high visibility. The sealed membrane keyboard offers resistance to chemicals and fluid ingress and is a non-condensation/ non-freeze design. The high definition, high contrast, colour TFT display affords maximum visibility in all lighting conditions. The five-wire touch screen design remains fully functional even when damaged


Industry-standard Platforms
The Monaco x-scale microprocessor architecture ensures optimal processing speed. The Monaco supports Wi-Fi and GPRS radio for high-speed wireless communications, and numerous terminal emulation standards for easy integration with any application package available. The terminal operates under the Windows CE platform providing access to Microsoft application packages and browser based functionality.
