Index Computer Systems announced today that it had been chosen to supply the RM Curtis group of companies with a new ERP solution.
The RM Curtis group, which includes RM Curtis & Co Ltd, Multiple Marketing Ltd and Eat Natural Ltd, had been considering replacing its current system for several years but had been unable to find a package that met its needs and expectations. During this period it evaluated a number of different solutions from companies including Freshware, Defacto and Rubicon.
Index impressed Keith Smith, Company Secretary for the group, They obviously know what they are talking about. Their experience in the food industry and their interest in our business shone through.
As part of the ERP solution, Index will be implementing an integrated wireless data capture system throughout the RM Groups warehouses in Camberwell and Halstead to provide accurate and real time stock information.
Keith believes the new ERP solution will provide a number of key benefits to the business, which the current system cannot. It will provide up to date, accurate information enabling business decisions to be made on fact and not assumption. It will also give the group improved management and control over its stock enabling it to automate a number of manually intensive processes. Combined this will free up management time to focus on the core issues of customer satisfaction and profitability.
Prior to making the decision to go with Index, a reference visit was made to another Index customer in the food industry where Keith was impressed by what the customer had gained through Indexs implementation.
Bernard Godward, MD of Index Computer Systems comments Index has traditionally been very strong in the food manufacturing and processing industry and following recent sales to British Bakels, Kluman & Balter and TH Clements we are very please to add the RM Curtis group to our growing customer list. We are confident that our business driven approach to meeting customers needs will ensure the RM Curtis group achieves a rapid return on investment on its adoption of Indexs Amazon ERP solution.
