Paxar Corporation, a leading provider of fully integrated and innovative labelling, merchandising and identification solutions for apparel manufacturers and retailers, announces it will have a permanent stand at the RFID Centre in Bracknell to showcase its M&S RFID application as well as the 9855 RFID printer and other related products.

Paxar products and solutions will be showcased to a wide cross section of interested parties. Visitors to the Centre include consultants, suppliers, academics, press, analysts, government organisations, industry bodies, international technology companies and end-user businesses - including some of the world's largest healthcare, retail, logistics and consumer packaged goods companies. Among others, representatives from Argos, British Airways, BSkyB, Eastman Kodak, GlaxoSmithKline, NHS, PepsiCo, Rolls-Royce, Royal Mail, Sony and Waitrose have all visited The RFID Centre. Paxar will also have exclusive use of the Centre for a limited number of days per year when it may host events or seminars solely for Paxars customers, prospects, staff or partners.

The RFID Centre exhibits a wide range of RFID related technologies and applications to educate organisations on both the business and technical issues of utilising RFID technology. Founded by the UK Government and commercial sponsors, the Centre seeks to raise the awareness of the value of RFID in business applications and demonstrate the impact of the technology on organisational operations and practices.

The RFID Centre is a permanent, independent venue based in Bracknell in the heart of the IT corridor west of London. The Centre is relevant to both UK and European organisations across public and private sectors. Information is provided in a neutral environment to those who wish to learn more about RFID technology including professionals, executives and managers from any organisation involved in the production, packaging, movement or sale of goods - or anyone involved in the tracking or management of physical assets.

Max Tatford, Marketing Manager of Paxar EMEA commented: This is an excellent opportunity for Paxar to further strengthen its position as a leading provider of RFID solutions. The advantages we will derive from locating our systems and application solutions at the Centre are considerable in terms of PR, market visibility, lead generation, branding and the ability to project thought leadership in this area. There is also significant benefit in terms of networking with existing vendors, emerging players and industry bodies as well as being able to be present at some types of event and actually meet prospective RFID adopters.
