Leading new and refurbished data capture hardware supplier, Ryzex, has recently been appointed as a Zebra ZASP (Zebra Authorised Service Provider), authorised to carry out warranty repairs and service contracts on Zebra barcode label printers.
Ryzex has a strong relationship with Zebra and has been repairing Zebra printers that have fallen out of warranty for its customers for many years. It has also refurbished used printers that it has supplied to customers looking to take advantage of the cost savings available if they purchase high quality second user equipment. It sees this certification to make warranty repairs as being a natural progression in its extensive service capabilities, which already cover most major hardware manufacturers.
In order to become a service provider five of Ryzexs service engineers had to attend an extensive training course and pass a number of exams.
Ryzex sees this appointment as offering real value to its Zebra printer customers as it now offers a one stop shop for all Zebra repairs, whether within warranty or outside of warranty, reducing management and administration time for the customer.
Additionally, for the mobile printing customers, Ryzex offers a hot swap service whereby it will hold stock of mobile printers so that if a printer fails or gets damaged within warranty during a roll out the customer can send it straight back to Ryzex who will provide a working unit from stock by return. This helps to ensure minimal disruption and downtime to field based workers if their unit fails.
The service can also be extended to cover the units after the warranty has expired.
