Microsoft Business Solutions has today announced that Marco Cable Management, a rapidly growing manufacturer in Anglesey, has selected Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains to manage its accounting and ordering system across the organisation. Marco Cable Management has worked with Microsoft Business Solutions certified partner Liber8, who implemented the solution. Liber8s ability to upgrade and integrate Marcos Microsoft powered technology, including Windows Small Business Server 2003, Microsoft Office 2003 and Windows XP SP2 was crucial to a successful deployment.
Marco found that it had outgrown the existing financial systems it had in place since start up and that expansion of the business justified making a longer term IT investment. With a state-of-the-art 22,000 square foot facility and an anticipated 10m+ turnover in the near future, Marco needed an integrated solution to manage its ordering and financial processes. Liber8 was chosen to implement Microsoft Great Plains because it demonstrated an understanding both of Marcos business and how Microsoft Great Plains capabilities would fulfil the organisations needs.
The firm took the opportunity to upgrade their email and server capability as well, with Windows Small Business Server 2003, with integrated Exchange and SQL Server 2000, joining with Microsoft Office 2003 and Microsoft Great Plains to provide an end-to-end solution.
