Connect Spot, the international Wi-Fi Internet Service Provider, (WISP) today announced that it has been contracted to provide Rexam, the FTSE 100 global consumer packaging group and the world's No 1 beverage can maker, with a fully integrated remote access service to allow its staff to work seamlessly and remotely. Staff will be able to access the internet and their corporate communications packages using the iPass remote access solution. They will be able to do this from anywhere in the World using a resilient roam server implementation integrated into Rexam's systems by Connect Spot. The initial contract is for a two-year period.
Connect Spot is the chosen Systems Integrator to provide integration of the systems with Rexam 's own back-office to provide a fast, reliable and secure solution which can be used by all of the company's staff. Connect Spot will provide Rexam with a one click smart client and carry out the implementation.
