Winterhalter Looks To PartsArena Mobile To Boost Service Levels

Infomills PartsArena solution has found favour with commercial dishwasher manufacturers Winterhalter. PartsArena was chosen by Winterhalter, the worlds leading dishwasher manufacturer, to enable their service engineers to continue the companys excellent reputation.

PartsArena allows service engineers to quickly identify and order parts in the field through the use of hand-held computers and smart phones. PartsArena allows engineers to see exploded parts diagrams on-screen and link directly to parts lists. It also allows them to order parts immediately by linking with their service management software. The result is a massive reduction in wrongly ordered equipment and repeat visits by engineers. Most significantly though is the ease of use. Over sixty thousand pages of a parts catalogues and service information can be held on a PDA.

Our philosophy is to provide customers with reliable, efficient machines that save time and money, says Winterhalters Financial Director David Parsons. In order to make sure that they stay reliable, our engineers must be able to quickly identify parts and, when necessary, order new ones. In the rare event that anything does go wrong with one of our machines, we have to be able to fix it as a matter of urgency our customers simply cant be kept waiting.

PartsArena links seamlessly with the service management software already in place at Winterhalter. That way, an engineer can order a new part with the click of a button whilst on-site.

Were proud of PartsArenas ability to work with virtually any system, comments Jonathan Ralphs, Infomills CEO. A company in Winterhalters position has to be able to rely on their software they cant afford not to. PartsArena means that they now have a system where their service teams efficiency is greatly improved which can only benefit them and their customers.

As well as providing the solution for Winterhalters 74 engineers in the UK, Infomill will also provide technical support and training although Parts Arena is so intuitive that little user training is required.

It really is a very simple device, continues Parsons, but one that will have a massive impact. Im certain that our field engineers will see enormous benefit from using PartsArena, as will our customers.
