Exel, the global leader in supply chain management, today announced that Antonio Fondevilla Martnez has been appointed Business Development Director for the Company's Automotive sector in Europe.
Antonio Fondevilla will join the 12-strong European development team, reporting into Mike Summers, Vice President Development, for Exel's Automotive sector in Europe. In his new role Antonio will support Exel's Automotive business development agenda across the region, with a specific focus on Spain, Portugal and Italy.
"Southern Europe has been a key geography for Exel for more than a decade. We intend to further build on our existing relationships and expand our solutions portfolio in this region," said Mark Seager, Exel's Managing Director, for its Automotive sector in Europe. "Antonio's industry knowledge and experience will be instrumental in delivering this."
Antonio Fondevilla has worked for Exel for eight years in a range of roles including Solutions Director in Europe and more recently Automotive Director in Spain. He has a degree in engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC Universitat Politcnica de Catalunya) and a postgraduate from IESE Business School, Barcelona.
