THE IM2004 INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AWARDS

The Information Management Awards are the premier European recognition of excellence and innovation in the management of business information. They are a showcase for organisations that have demonstrated the vision and business skills to implement very successful projects based on leading-edge technologies such as Supply Chain, CRM, Business Intelligence, and Content Management.

The 2004 Awards were presented at the Awards dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Thursday 2 December in front of an audience of nearly 1050 finalists, press and guests. The host and entertainer for the evening was Barry Cryer, veteran of countless radio and television comedy shows.

From nineteen original entries in the Supply Chain Management category, the Award for the best implementation of a supply chain project in the past twelve months went to pH Europe for their project RFID-Enabled High Visibility Supply Chain, partnered by RF Code. The Award was presented by Rick Chandler, Board Member, EEMA. Taking the Runner-up spot was Cosworth Racing for their project Collaboration and management of the external supply chain using Documentum eRoom, partnered by EMC - Documentum. Liverpool City Council were commended for their project Move to the front!, partnered by Liverpool Direct.

Manufacturing and Logistics IT magazine was the exclusive media partner for the Supply Chain Award and the Editor, Iestyn Armstrong-Smith, was a member of the expert judging panel.
