Aldata has signed an agreement with Finnish SOL Palvelut Oy to supply centralized Profix In-Store and Supply Chain Management systems.

The contract consists of centralized supply chain management and in-store management based on Aldata Profix software and it will be implemented in SOL's 60 stores. Aldata Profix is a Novell Suse Linux based solution, which combines performance, information security and cost efficiency.

The order is a full-service agreement, which includes software, project management, hardware, as well as maintenance and support services. The project begins immediately and deliveries to the stores will start during 2005 and will be completed during the first half of the year.

Anu Eronen, Managing Director of Sol Palvelut Oy: "Decisive factors in the process of choosing the in-store system were an advanced and centralized point of sale and supply chain management system, competitive price and the capability to meet the special needs of laundry stores.

Aldata Finland Oy's Managing Director Jorma Tukia emphasizes: "This contract is important for us, since it is a centralized Linux system based on our latest technology. Additionally the agreement confirms our strong presence as a supplier of information systems for the specialty goods sector."
