ACR Logistics and Mobiltron have today announced a partnership to provide an innovative and groundbreaking extended Supply Chain Service for the Wireless markets of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
This new service will now provide a 'one stop shop' for a complete supply chain service from manufacturing source to end customer delivery. It will reduce costs by providing speed to market and by limiting exposure to inventory excesses, delivering a 'demand driven' supply chain and avoiding capital being tied up in surplus stock. Local support will also be provided in each country to deliver aftermarket services such as warranty repairs, returns etc.

The increasing sophistication of handsets and the added complexities of fragmented supply chains, as a result of the shift in production to Asia, have had the effect of increasing costs to existing manufacturers, operators and retailers through inaccurate demand forecasting, excess and obsolete inventory holdings and inefficient and costly supply chains.
This new 'On Demand Customisation' service will provide the ability to deliver handsets that reflect actual market demand with the added benefit of having products available within 72 hours of order, thus greatly reducing costs and enhancing customer service. An after sales service encompassing call centres and repair capabilities will ensure that the end user will have 24 hour support to meet the ever increasing expectation of a first class customer service solution.
