Aldata G.O.L.D. extends its deployment in Carrefour Italy

Carrefour Italy selected Aldata G.O.L.D. for replenishment and stock/inventory management to its 38 hypermarkets in 2002. After a successful implementation in 2002 and proven live operations during 2003, Carrefour Italy decided to extend Aldata G.O.L.D.s footprint to cover the same functions for its supermarket format.

A pilot project was launched in June 2003 and successfully completed in November of that year. Carrefour Italy have now initiated the full deployment of the Aldata G.O.L.D. solution throughout 200 of its supermarket estate and this will be concluded over the next few months. For the implementation of both projects Carrefour Italy selected Etnoteam, one of the major Business Solution Aggregators in Italy and the Italian Partner of Aldata G.O.L.D.

The success of the Carrefour Italy projects was a key decision factor and reference point for Carrefours decision at the end of 2003, to sign a global frame agreement for Aldata G.O.L.D.
