Aldata and Finnish Alko Oy have signed an agreement for the supply of centralized store management and In-Store systems.
The contract includes centralized store management system, based on Aldatas G.O.L.D. Shop software. The contract also includes G.O.L.D. POS In-Store system to more than 300 stores with some 1000 cash registers. Aldatas Payment Platform, EMV-compatible software for debit/credit card payment, will be supplied with the In-Store system.
The order is a full-service agreement, including software, project management, hardware, as well as maintenance and support services. The project will start immediately and deliveries to the stores will begin during 2005. The order will be completed during 2006.
Assistant Vice President of Data Administration, Jukka Litmanen from Alko Oy states: The important factors in choosing the In-Store system were the modern architecture of the solution, the suppliers experience in supplying in-store systems and the good functionality of the centralized In-Store system.
