Cincom and Finmatica have announced a strategic marketing alliance, whereby Cincom will promote Finmaticas FINeCHAIN suite of supply chain management software applications within Cincoms CONTROL portfolio of manufacturing management solutions around the globe.

Established over 35 years ago and with worldwide coverage, Cincom is one of the most experienced providers of Enterprise Management solutions. CONTROL includes specific functionality for complex manufacturers including Quotation and Configuration Management, Program Management and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul.

CONTROL already includes functionality for Demand Management, Master Scheduling and Capacity Planning, but the Finmatica FINeCHAIN component will provide much more in-depth Advanced Planning and Scheduling functionality to address detailed, short-term operational scheduling, medium-term collaborative manufacturing planning and complex project planning. The solution utilises portal technology to enable customers, partners and suppliers on-line visibility of order and production status, right through from material requirements to final shipments.

A natural partnership for Finmatica and Cincom - both having a strong international presence, proven track records in delivering solutions of high value and solid customer bases - this affiliation creates a powerful supply chain offering particularly suited to complex manufacturing companies.

Manufacturers increasingly need to collaborate up and down their supply chains and have amongst the most complex supply chains in industry. These can typically include design companies, OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), tier 1 & 2 suppliers, prime & sub contractors, right through to the component and raw material suppliers. We believe those organisations that take control of their supply chain will gain significant competitive advantage and will succeed. Our partnership with Finmatica offers companies a technology solution to enable them to do just that, stated Ron High, Cincom Systems Regional Director for Northern Europe.
