TiVA Services appoints Sense Internet to design and build a supply chain profiling portal

Supply chain application service providers TiVA Services Ltd has appointed Sense Internet to deliver an innovative new supplier development portal that will operate via the Internet and to be known as 'Profiler'.

Sense was chosen for its unique mixture of creative technology and business understanding - both essential to deliver a new tool that will transform the way that major corporations can interact with their many suppliers.

The Profiler application will launch in the autumn, and has already attracted FTSE100 customers who are keen to take advantage of the insight it will deliver into their complex supply chains.

Sense managing director Aidan Cook commented: "Our experience of delivering supply-chain related tools to major corporates continues to keep Sense in a leading position when it comes to transfering business process to the Internet. In addition, as a supplier to corporates ourselves, we were able to assist TiVA in their research by explaining what would and would not motivate us to use this kind of system: user insight that will be essential for the service to be a success."

TiVA's founder Andy Brown, previously a purchasing director with household name firms: BSkyB plc, ASDA Group plc, The Boots Group plc and Arcadia plc decided to develop the new service to fulfil a burning need in TiVA's clients for knowledge about their suppliers.

"TiVA has developed a completely new and unique way of supply chain profiling, which because it is easy, cost effective and has benefits to both the buyer and the seller, will become a standard tool in the supply chains of many of the UK's largest companies. It is therefore vital for us to work with the best partners who understand our clients and can deliver a robust application. We have that in Sense Internet." Andy Brown, Chief Executive, TiVA services Ltd.
