Exel, the global leader in supply chain management, have announced the
Company has received the Supplier Excellence Award for the Alliance Product Distribution Center, which it operates for Texas Instruments Incorporated, (TI). Exel has now won the
award two times in three years, previously winning in 2001. Exel performs
comprehensive warehousing and logistics services for Texas Instruments.
The annual award recognizes vendors who demonstrate the ability to supply
products and services that meet TIs high standards for excellence.
Recipients are an elite group of suppliers chosen for their exemplary
performance in the areas of Cost, Environmental Responsibility,
Technology, Responsiveness, Assurance of Supply and Quality.
Exels associates within this operation, led by General Managers Billy
Morris and Michael Henderson, all participated in efforts to bring TIs
products to the marketplace faster and at a lower cost. The Exel/TI team
demonstrated efficient and successful management, which are decisive
factors for receiving the Supplier Excellence Award. Ongoing efforts to
meet the next challenge are at the forefront of each Exel associates
mind every day.
