ERP solutions provider infor business solutions, part of Agilisys, a US company and leading supplier of enterprise business solutions to select manufacturing verticals, has secured a major new business win in the machinery and engineering sector. Pneumatic conveying expert Clyde Materials Handling has placed an order for infor:COM as part of a major business improvement investment that includes supply, implementation, training and support. The 60-user manufacturing ERP system includes CRM, service and project management.
Clyde Materials Handling is recognised as a global materials handling solutions provider with offices and manufacturing facilities in the UK, USA, Brazil, China and South Africa. Richard Sims, Joint Managing Director of Clyde Materials said, We are keen to integrate our business processes around infor:COM and SunSystems financials. This will give us the visibility we need to manage our continued business growth. The ERP selection project was led by Richard Turner, Head of IT at Clyde Materials. Project management and cost-reporting are particularly important to us, and we felt that infor:PROJECT offered significantly more in this area than other products.
