TOSHIBA TEC Europe is pleased to announce Wi-Fi Certification for its compact, lightweight and versatile B-SP2D 2 portable printer. Utilising 802.11b Wi-Fi and IRDA interfaces the B-SP2D is the first truly wireless printer to receive this prestigious certification.

Wi-Fi Certification, issued by the Wi-Fi Alliance*, assures tested and proven interoperability among wireless computer equipment; this certification gives consumers and business buyers confidence that wireless LAN products bearing the Wi-Fi logo have passed rigorous interoperability certification requirements.

The B-SP2D is the ideal printer for producing high quality barcode labels and receipts, perfect for any mobile printing application; including price mark-down labelling on shop floors, doorstep delivery receipts, tracking parcels in warehouses, printing tickets for events the possibilities are endless!

*As a non-profit trade organisation, the Wi-Fi Alliance has three purposes: To promote Wi-Fi world-wide by encouraging manufacturers to use standardised 802.11 technologies in their wireless networking products; to promote and market these technologies to consumers in the home, and enterprise markets; and to test and certify Wi-Fi product interoperability.
