PAROC GROUP, A LEADING EUROPEAN INSULATION MANUFACTURER, SELECTS IFS APPLICATIONS

Paroc Group, a Finland-based manufacturer of mineral wool insulation, has decided to implement IFS Applications across its production facilities and sales offices to gain greater control over group accounting, purchasing, and logistics processes. IFS Finland will deliver this significant expansion of Paroc's ERP system, which includes components for financials, logistics, sales, manufacturing, and maintenance. The contract is valued at approximately 2 million.    

IFS Applications will be implemented at Paroc Group's production facilities in Finland, Sweden, Poland, and Lithuania as well as at their sales offices. The implementation will be the largest IT project in Paroc's history, and the company looks forward to significant returns on their investment.

"This is a very significant contract for IFS. We have had a strong, successful relationship with Paroc since 1993, and we are very happy to see our collaboration broaden its scope. We see this new contract as a sign of continued confidence in IFS," said Tapani Pohjonen, managing director of IFS Finland.

"The new system enables more efficient accounting, purchase handling, and logistical processes. We also expect improvements in delivery chain management," commented Paroc's COO, Vin Tuomisalo.

Corporate and division-level project teams from IFS and Paroc will implement the system jointly, which expected to go live during the first half of 2006.
